Privacy policy

This policy explains what Wattar Digital (“Wattar”, “we”) collects through this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to be read in a few minutes.

  1. What we collect

    We collect only what you give us, plus a safeguard against abuse and a count of page views:

    • Application form: your name, work email, company, role, company website, FDA stage, latest funding round, who you sell to, your timeline and any message you add.
    • Readiness scorecard: your answers and your score. If you choose to save your results, also your name, work email and company.
    • Website assistant: your conversations with the assistant on this site, and any contact details you choose to share in them, stored so we can follow up and improve the service.
    • Abuse prevention: a one-way hash of your IP address, used only to stop spam and abuse.
    • Page views: which page of this website was viewed, the site that linked to it, any campaign tags in the link, your country and language, the kind of device and browser you used and its screen size, how long the page was open and how far it was scrolled, and clicks on links that leave this site, on email links and on downloads. Visits are counted two ways: by our own counter, and by Simple Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service. Neither sets cookies. Our own counter stores only the page, the referring site, campaign tags, country and whether you used a phone, tablet or computer, with no IP address or browser details, and it records nothing if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Simple Analytics collects the rest of that list. It says it does not store IP addresses, and it does not count browsers that send Do Not Track; it does not act on Global Privacy Control.

  2. What we do not do

    • We do not use advertising cookies.
    • We do not sell your personal information.
    • We do not share your personal information with anyone for their own marketing.

  3. How we use it

    • To review your application and prepare for a launch diagnostic.
    • To send the scorecard results and plan you asked for.
    • To answer your questions through the website assistant, and to improve it.
    • To keep this site secure and free of spam.

  4. Who processes it for us

    Four service providers process data on our behalf, only to provide their service to us:

    • Netlify, which hosts this website.
    • Supabase, which provides our database.
    • Anthropic, the AI provider behind the website assistant.
    • Simple Analytics, which counts visits to this website without cookies.

  5. How long we keep it

    Applications, saved scorecard results and assistant conversations are kept for up to 24 months, unless a client relationship starts.

    Page view counts in our own counter are kept for 13 months. Simple Analytics keeps its counts under its own retention policy.

    You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing mira@wattardigital.com. We will confirm when it is done.

  6. Your California privacy rights

    If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect about you and how we use it, to ask us to delete it, to ask us to correct it, and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.

  7. Not for patient information or medical advice

    This website is for medical-technology companies, not patients. Please do not enter patient information, or any health information about an individual, in our forms or in the website assistant. Nothing on this site is medical advice.

  8. Changes to this policy

    If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
